I am sure all of you have heard by now that the Melted Maverick John McCain has decided not to back the first latino nominee to the supreme court. It has long been determined in my mind that his dude is nothing short of a racist jerk. I am not sure how many people are also aware this guy voted "AGAINST" making Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday a national holiday. Of course he loves blacks and latinos...doesn't it show? He could never have been president in my mind because his hate and ignorance were obvious to me during the entire campaign. It would appear that most members of the NRA are folks who detest black Americans. The Huckabees and the Palins of the world who believe their color is the supreme and dominant shade have salted progress for years. We are ALL EQUAL...BOTTOM EQUAL!!! This country has had enough of the ignorance and divisive leadership running our nation into the toilet. We have not seemed to dismantle the structure of ignorance and hatred in this country, even with the election of our first African American President. John McCain's decision not to back President Obama's choice for the supreme court sends a clear signal that American is still in the same social space we have been trying to move away from for decades. Old racist are fading as the years progress, but not fast enough for me. Many Americans are ready for a new day and hopefully all the John McCain minded politicians and people will fade off into the backround and a new batch of leadership with blanket our system allowing a fresh face and perspective in our government.
